Curated Local Direct Mail

Good local businesses,
in good company.

A small group of local businesses splits the cost of a shared postcard mailing. You get your own ad space, your own offer, and your own piece of real estate in local mailboxes -- without paying for the whole thing yourself.

Built by a local business owner who wanted it for her own company. We're inviting one business per category across Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, and nearby neighborhoods.

04

Get seen locally

From the founder

I started Mailbox Commons because my husband and I ran into this problem ourselves.

With our pool repair company, True Flow Pool Solutions, we wanted direct mail to reach local homeowners. But a solo mailer was expensive, and most shared mail didn't feel like a place I wanted our brand to live.

I wanted something better: a card that looked good, felt local, and helped the right businesses stand out for the right reasons.

So I built Mailbox Commons for businesses like ours. One business per category. Shared print and postage. Professional ad design included. A simple way to show up well without carrying the whole cost alone.

We're selective because the card has to earn its place on the kitchen counter. Every business on it should add something helpful, trustworthy, and easy to say yes to.

If your local business belongs on the card, I'd love to hear from you.

What to expect

Honest about how this works.

Direct mail is a slow burn, not a slot machine. One card won't flood your phone the next morning. What it does is keep your name in front of nearby homes, so when someone needs what you do, you're the one they remember.

This is a branding play, not a click-for-leads campaign. Your card reaches brand-new households, and because it's something people can hold, it doesn't vanish the second they look away.

Most businesses see it build over a few drops, not one. And we'll tell you straight if we don't think your category is a good fit for the card.

FAQ

Questions about the card.

Still unsure if Mailbox Commons is right for your business? Send us a message and we'll talk it through.

Category-exclusive means only one business like yours appears on each card in your area. If your category is open, you won't be sitting beside a direct competitor on the same card.
Direct mail is worth it for local businesses when it reaches the right homes, looks good, and gives people a reason to remember you. Mailbox Commons is built for that kind of slow-burn visibility: useful offers, trusted local names, and a card that feels worth keeping.
Mailbox Commons works alongside your Facebook and Google ads, not instead of them. Those often re-reach people who already know you, and they're easy to scroll past. Your card reaches brand-new households and can sit on the counter or fridge for weeks. Reaching a home here costs pennies, while a single click on Google or Facebook often costs a few dollars. The goal is local awareness and staying remembered.
Mailbox Commons is different from sending your own direct mail because we help with the hard parts: ad design, card layout, printing, postage, delivery, and basic QR tracking. You get a polished placement without having to build the whole campaign by yourself.
The price includes your card placement, category exclusivity, a clean ad layout, printing, and delivery. Optional QR tracking is available too, but the main value is getting your business into nearby homes on a card people may keep.
No. Send your logo, contact details, and an offer, and we'll lay out a clean, simple ad that fits the card. Already have an ad you like? Send it and we'll make sure it works on the card.
A good offer gives local customers a simple reason to remember you or take the next step. That could be a discount, free consult, first-visit offer, seasonal special, trial class, or clear invitation to learn more.
Mail areas are chosen by ZIP, local fit, and card availability. We focus on areas where the card can reach nearby homes that make sense for the businesses featured.
The card is working when more local customers start recognizing your name, visiting your site, calling, searching for you, or remembering you later. Direct mail is a brand-awareness channel, so the value often builds over time. If QR tracking is included, you can also see scan activity.
No. You don't have to commit to multiple drops to check your category or ask questions. Some businesses start with one card, while others choose repeat drops for more steady local visibility.
After you check your category, we'll confirm whether your business type is open in your area. If it looks like a fit, we'll talk through the card options, your offer, design details, timing, and the next available drop.
